ABOUT HIVE YOUTH
Since 2016 we have been delivering a unique approach to drama teaching, incorporating a range of skills, that challenge and educate young people of all abilities.
All teachers are DBS checked, trained arts teachers and industry professionals from the stage and screen, giving students invaluable insight and experience.
We develop the skills of our students in a variety of areas not exclusive to theatre performance. Productions have included devising a new play, producing an original short film and recording a radio drama.
We recognise that every child has unique needs, qualities and interests and we aim to inspire their creativity, improve self-esteem and develop important life skills.
Past students have gone on to join the National Youth Theatre, the Royal Exchange Young Company and work on BBC Radio, CBEEBIES and ITV productions.
Hive North is a registered Arts Award Centre and members can work towards achieving an Arts Award, a recognised qualification awarded by leading exam board Trinity College London.
Arts Award entrants:
