ABOUT THE SHOW

The play is performed by three actors playing all the characters. Puppetry is used to tell the inspirational true story of Tango - a baby penguin raised by Roy and Silo, two male Chin-strap penguins in Central Park Zoo.

Tango’s adventure takes the audience on a journey through Central Park Zoo, meeting some extraordinary animals along the way, including Clarence the Clownfish, a very protective stay-at-home Dad, Sheldon the Seahorse, exhausted after giving birth to 2000 babies, Mickey the Meerkat who lives with his sisters and Ella the baby elephant who is brought up by her Granny and Aunties. Tango learns the true meaning of family and some truly terrible jokes in this fast and funny production.
